They may themselves expand their profiles with further information: Description, business hours, contact persons, products and services, events (e.g. open days), job offers, news, (e.g. press releases, new products, customer testimonials etc), photos, graphics, files and videos, which make the yellow1 company entry an attractive internet presence.

The information services provide users (searchers) with many search and data entry functions and they no longer have to access numerous pages in their search for companies, persons, jobs, events and company information.

Every free company entry is en extremely detailed and attractive media presentation of the company – a free homepage in Europe’s leading database. Our Companies search is based on data from the Schober Information Group (approx. six million company addresses). The search in “Telephone book” is based on subscriber data from the Deutsche Telekom (approx. 30 million addresses}. The search for persons is based on the personal search engine Yasni. The “Jobs” search is based on the job search engine Jobscout24. Data retrieved from a search of news and events is based on our own data.

The detail of the information of a provider depends on how a provider uses and extends his entry in yellow1.

The user selects at the time of registration a user name and password. This data is not accessible or visible to other users.

The collection, processing, utilisation and evaluation of personal information proceeds under strict observance of the data privacy protection legislation of the Federal Republic of Germany (data protection legislation for telecommunications providers TDDSG and the German Federal Data Protection Act BDSG) and the data protection regulations of the European Union.

Personal information is under no circumstances and at no time made accessible to other users. yellow1 shall not pass this data to a third party and/or provide any information to a third party.

Insofar other companies are commissioned by yellow1 to supply services for yellow1, e.g. the processing and delivery of newsletters or the preparation of statistical analyses, the respective companies commit to yellow1 that all personal information received will be kept secret, and may use the data for contract purposes only.

Unregistered users

You may subscribe to the newsletter on the homepage. Only your name and email address are required. You will receive an activation link via your email address. The newsletter subscription is activated after the link is confirmed.

Registered users

Registered users can subscribe on the homepage to receive the newsletter or set the “opt-in” communications option in the user account and will be kept informed regularly via email of news, tips etc.

You must register for the following functions:

yellow1 permits up-to-date company searches in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. All other searches are limited to Germany.

Check first, what type of error has occurred. For example, should you find that the name or address in your base entry are incorrect, you can report this via the “Report profile” function. The data will be updated once it has been reviewed.

Use the “report profile” function to report misuse, in particular violations of the general terms and conditions as well as of patent, copy, trademark and personal right infringements. yellow1 strives to remove illegal, improper or misused contents within a reasonable period of time after acknowledgement and assessment of the circumstances. Yellow1.de reserves the right to take legal action in cases of abuse of the function for notification of misuse.

Messages can be sent using the “Send message” function. Clicking opens a contact form where you can enter your enquiry. However, this requires the minimum registration with user name, password and email address. Replies are received in the mailbox and indicated under “my account”. When you log into your user account, the number of email messages are indicated Companies, which you have entered in your Remember me list, can be directly contacted via your email account.

The yellow1 bonus system helps you to achieve a better positioning of your entry in the hit list.
When searching for a company, product or service, the user receives a hit list according to his search criteria.
yellow1 points, for example, influence the order of listed companies on the hit list.

Yellow1 aims at providing its users and members with the best possible search results. Yellow1 points provide an evaluation of the extent and quality of the entered information.

You gain yellow1 points by entering information and uploading text files, pictures and videos onto your profile. The more you enter, the more points you gain.
The completeness of a profile can be determined at any time with the progress bar (e.g. “profile completion at 70%”), which is indicated in every profile. You also gain bonus points for regularly updating and expanding the profile. If you recommend yellow1 via your user account, you also gain yellow1 points.

You can see your points when you log into your user account. The progress bar in your company profile also provides a clear indication of points.
